Each month we share T.O.U.C.H. points with our members. These are opportunities for our community to tune-in and connect. Whether activities to do in your home town, or content we're loving right now, these five recs can create shared experiences no matter where you are.
October T.O.U.C.H. points include:

Test Kitchen
Roasted Chicken
Turkey’s not the only bird in town this season. If you’d prefer a smaller chick this month, this recipe is for you.
We've never feel more like Julia Childs than when we pull a beautiful roasted chicken from the oven. And the best part -- its one of the easiest things we've ever made! (We're not joking!)
We always use our favorite Dutch Oven from Staub. We love the deep blue color that looks good in the oven and on the table
On Our Nightstand
The Wedding People
While our whole family isn’t able to gather for Thanksgiving this year, the cousins have organized a family book club where we’ll connect over Zoom. This month’s pic is “The Wedding People” by Alison Espach. To be honest, it felt like a slow start, but we were later floored by some of the nuggets of wisdom buried inside!
U Have To Watch This
Brothers & Sisters on Hulu
The best thing about all of the streaming services today is the ability to re-watch old favorites. This oldie, but goodie, is especially fun to watch when you come from a big, crazy family like the Walkers (and ours...)
Community
Volunteering
Try and resist the urge to find a soup kitchen to serve in the week of Thanksgiving, and instead find a cause that you’ll feel good about giving to all year long. Try your local Boys and Girls Club or Big Brother Big Sisters, or set up a monthly monetary donation to the organization of your choice. This month is a great time to establish a habit of giving back!

5am club
Okay, if we haven’t already lost you by the title of this section, hang on a little longer! While the thought of setting our alarms with a 5 in front used to make us queasy, finally giving the practice written about in Robin Sharma’s book a try has literally transformed our lives. The crazy thing is, the days we choose to sleep in a little more, we are actually more tired in the afternoon than on the days we drag ourselves out of bed. The best piece of advice for anyone crazy enough to give this a shot is to turn on as many lights on as you can as soon as your alarm goes off to get your circadian rhythm on board.
